Pergola and Deck Staining
Project In Woodbury

Cedar Deck & Pergola Staining Project

For this project, our team at Top Tier Professional Painting was hired to restore and protect a beautiful cedar deck and pergola. Cedar is a premium wood that requires careful preparation and the right staining process to preserve its natural color and durability. We began with a thorough prep phase to clean the surfaces, remove buildup, and ensure the wood was ready to properly absorb the stain.

Clear and consistent communication with the homeowner was a priority from day one. We walked them through the process, timeline, and stain options so expectations were aligned and the final finish matched their vision. Our crew worked efficiently while taking great care to protect the surrounding space and landscaping, maintaining a clean and respectful job site throughout the project.

The final result highlights the natural grain of the cedar while adding long-lasting protection against weather and wear. The refreshed deck and pergola now look vibrant, polished, and built to last. The homeowner was thrilled with the outcome and trusted us again for future painting and staining needs — the kind of long-term relationship we strive to build with every client.

“I hired Top-Tier to prep and stain a cedar deck and pergola, and they did an excellent job from start to finish. Communication was clear and consistent throughout the process. The crew was efficient, careful, and respectful of the space. Most importantly, the finished work looks fantastic. I’ll definitely be calling Top-Tier again for any future painting or staining projects.” -Greg S.
